Kampung Lahar Yooi was located in Tasek Gelugor ,Seberang Perai Utara is one of traditional Malay village that against a backdrop of paddy fields. The name of "Lahar Yooi" taken after the landscapes of the land surface is soft and sinkholes that was call it as "Yooi".It was formed by a stream that has disappeared effects of the deposition process, filled with mud and overgrown grass.
